So, What Can You Expect?
Charleston is an extraordinary place. Its history, architecture, food, beaches, and natural beauty attract millions of visitors. But what makes Charleston truly special is something that doesn't always make it into the guidebooks.
The people.
The people who were born here. The people who chose to move here. The people who started businesses, pursued dreams, preserved traditions, overcame obstacles, and built lives in this remarkable corner of South Carolina.
Every one of them has a story.
And those stories are what Charleston Through Their Eyes is all about.
This isn't a traditional interview show. My goal is to create the feeling of sitting down with someone over coffee or a drink and simply having a great conversation.
We'll talk about their lives, their passions, their experiences, and, of course, their relationship with Charleston.
We'll discover their favorite restaurants, hidden gems, places they love to visit, and perhaps even a few things they'd like to change.
Some conversations will make you laugh. Others may surprise you, inspire you, or introduce you to a side of Charleston you've never experienced.
And occasionally, we may even disagree about what makes Charleston great!
That's part of the fun.
A New Conversation Every Week
Beginning the week of October 26, we'll be releasing a new episode every week.
"Our very first guest is a Kentucky transplant who's made Charleston her home, and she brings a little Bluegrass elegance with her. She creates exquisite hats for the Kentucky Derby, high tea, and church on Sunday morning. And as if that weren't enough, she has one of the most fun and exclusive jobs in all of Charleston. You'll have to tune in to find out what it is!"
I read "the Kentucky" as the Kentucky Derby. Let me know if you meant something else.
